I suppose he did a fair job, but I would have preferred to hear Alex O. Not Van Morrison's, but Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

Whether you watch the movie or listen to the soundtrack the song "Moondance" will be stuck in your head. That is what I usually like about movie soundtracks - all different kinds of music. My taste is eclectic to say the least, and these tracks are all quite different. I enjoy this CD because of the diversity of the music. He and Jon shared a place in Manhattan with Jon's brother while filming and had a ball. fans is that he got to play his guitar and sing in the scenes where he and his brother (Jon) were in the band. Alex's Irish accent for the movie was so much better than Jon's. I am not a fan of Jonathan Rhys Meyers and when I watch the film I can only imagine what it could have been like if Alex had played the lead. If Alex had not been in this movie I probably wouldn't have watched it. Fans still miss Moonlight and Three Rivers but we love Alex as Steve McGarrett. As his fans know, Alex went on to make more movies and is now a star on Hawaii Five-0. Alex was thought to be perfect for the lead role but at that time he was not famous enough so the part of Marshall was rewritten and made larger just for him. He starred as Marshall in this movie, and as always, he shines. I bought this CD because I collect anything to do with Alex O'Loughlin. Nice CD, and a must for fans of Alex O'Loughlin!

Need a smile and a happy tear? gotta get these because you can't help feel the magic no matter who you are.you will be deeply touched. It takes me away as if I am in the movie itself watching the magic happen. This CD is even better, It is hard to find but I am so glad my search f inally paid off. We actually had to buy a new DVD since we worn the 1st one out. It is so good that I too, no matter what I am doing I stop, sit(ya.I now sit )and watch the DVD through to the end. My hubby has brain damage and no short term memory so if he likes something, he plays it over and over and over again. I stood for the first 40 minutes of the movie until my hubby asked if I was just going to stand there all day. The minute he pushed play, I was capivated. Being ADD/ADHD and living in a world where to me, everythin and everyone is moving in slow motion, TV period is NOT of interest to me. The album, made downloadable on August 5, 2008, via iTunes, was released commercially on August 12, 2008.
